LOCATING THE SERIAL NUMBER

There are two ways to obtain the serial number on the ST/8 Lathe. Inside the Cabinet. Open the back of the ST/8 Lathe Cabinet. On the right hand side of the Bed Base (just above the Spindle Motor and near the Gear Select Switch), the serial number is either stamped into the Bed Base or stamped on a nameplate.
From the Controller. Boot up the Controller. Press the "SET" button. On this Settings screen, the sixth line should show the serial number. The number is in the format of V-WWYY-NNNN. The "V" is the version of the ST/8. "WWYY" is the Week (2 digits) and the Year (2 digits) the ST/8 was built. The last four numbers are the actual serial number. |
