Operating Software |
The software is designed to be used on a DOS compatible computer. The software is designed to introduce the student to the intricacies of the operation of Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machines. It has an extensive help system built into the software. This help system can be summoned at any time with the F1 function key.
The language that is implemented is a large subset of the RS-274D standard put forth by the Electronic Industries Association (EIA). The Fanuc 6M dialect is followed faithfully.
Software allows program to be downloaded to the mill and allows for fully automatic stand-alone operation without the computer being connected to the mill. |
